This is a little unorthodox here at J-MuNet, but I felt like I need to upload something that I enjoy. Ok, here is the PV for EMYLI's new single, to be released July 18th, TEKITO-LOVER. Now, I'm a HUGE fan of EMYLI ever since hearing her in m-flo's Dopamine, I immedately fell in love with her voice and look (i really liked her hair) Then after the Loop in my Heart PV I fell in love with her style, with the hat and all. Then after the Don't Vanish Love PV and the Beat Space Nine concert (especially the VANESSA preformance) came the legs (probably thanks to the brainwashing of GAM, but I also have a thing for skirts). Now, to this song and video. First of all, i think EMYLI is hot and all, but I don't think that she has quite the body yet to be showing it off like that, besides the fact that I found it to be tacky (I think she really likes her ass). The legs didn't even get me with her short, tight, shiny pants (not my thing at all). Next, the curly blonde hair. Its not terrible, but after watching this PV, I went back and watched the Don't Vanish Love PV and I liked the super straight jet black hair so much better. On the closeup shots she still looks georgeous though, and her outfit later on looks really good with her blonde hair (remiends me of Bronx girls for some reason, but im just wierd). The video starts off with a nice up-tempo beat and an awesome verse by the one and only VERBAL (m-flo) thats entirley in english. The cinemetography? of that part is really awesome, VERBAL's shillouette against an illuminated white background. I also love VERBAL's sunglasses and hat in this one. This song also has a really catchy "hook"/chorus which is EMYLI's main purpose in the video, but she does get a chance or two to stretch her cords. VERBAL has 2 or 3 solo verses, and as far as I can tell, the are all different, which I think helps the song seeing as there is a chorus that repeats several times (something that I havent heard in a while, probably because ive been listenig to Clazziquai Project alot). In the end, the video was dissapointing for me, and I think I was auctually attracted to VERBAL more than EMYLI in this one, though the song is really good (IMHO) and I hope it does well and puts EMYLI back in the spotlight!
BTW: I see that people are quick to leave comments when a link isn't working, so that means that people are in fact visiting and downloading. So, please leave comments more often, let us know what you think of the music, which tracks are your favorite (I usually latch on to a few songs and ignore the rest for a while) on a particular album, to say thanks, or even hello! (It also encourages us to make updates more often ;) )
