I really enjoy this single, like most Angela Aki singles the B sides make the single actually worth owning. "This Love" is a beatiful mid tempo ballad infusing strings and drums with a good variations of high points and low points. "Jiyuu no Ashiato" is a moody song that ain't too bad, the break is the best part. "KISS FROM A ROSS" is a cover of the song originally sung by SEAL, Angela Aki's version is in japanesse and english, which is unique and intresting.

Angela Aki does it again with her second album. (Her 3rd album including an English release) In general Angela Aki's "TODAY" seems like a continatuion of her "HOME" album, but there are some things to note, Angela Aki's arragments are more unusual in this album, they have interesting progression. Songs like "Otome Gokoro" show Angela's use of synthesisers and interesting effects, but not to any extreme. "Tomo no Shirushi" really caught my ear when I first heard it, bringing comparisons to Mika Nakashima. The album is fresh but it doesn't bring anything fresh, same Angela Aki, with just a new set of clothes on the album. Either way, I'm still enjoying this album.

I really have a place in my heart for Angela Aki, her music (like I probably said before) is so beatiful, peaceful and relaxing. This single is just the same, Sakurairo is a release single to commemorate Angela Aki's first time in Budokan. The concert DVD is called Angela Aki MY KEYS 2006 in Budokan and will come out later this month. I really enjoy Angela Aki singles cause they bring so many goodies! This single has two remakes of songs from her album HOME. A rearrangement of MUSIC which is more upbeat and a piano version of HOME. There is also a B side On & On which is awesome as well :D

Well first off, Happy New Year! Welcome the New Year with Angela Aki's Kokoro No Senshi. a beautiful musician who makes beautiful music. I really enjoy Angela Aki's singles because they have a few songs that are not on her album. Here is an example : P every B side here is not in her album and they are all great songs! really makes you want to buy her singles. This single also has an interesting remake of the Final Fantasy VIII theme song, "Eyes On Me" originally sung by Fake Wong. It sounds a bit better since Angela Aki has no accent but the reprise is also made be Nobou Uematsu so its fantastic. The A side "Kokoro No Senshi" delivers a great range in vocal power for Aki and shows that she can make a timeless ballad but I knew she always could do it ; ), well enjoy and Happy New Year!
