Well there is like a whole lot to say about this album, but lets start with the basics lol, I tagged the last two songs as OLIVIA just cause in most players it will separate the songs for OLIVIA inspi' REIRA (TRAPNEST) but if you didn't know those are the songs that Olivia made under REIRA for the Nana anime. The album takes many dark and twisted turns as OLIVIA takes you through this mini album of hers, "If you only knew" recalls of memories in a emotional balled. "Stars shining out" brings out that rocker OLIVIA that Nana fans have grown to love but its more OLIVIA less REIRA. "Dream Catcher" is another emotional balled by OLIVIA, and although I'm not one for ballads OLIVIA's emotional voice and the fact that the song switches from power ballad to acoustics well that makes the song for me. OLIVIA totally hooked me with "Cloudy World" another more punk rock song, with awesome vocals and catchy guitar rifts. Another one for the Nana fans, "Wish" English version! It's actually quite good, if you haven't noticed OLIVIA speaks great English (I think she knows more English then Japanese) and did I forget to mention that "If you only knew", "Who's gonna stop it" and "Cut me free" are all in English? well maybe OLIVIA will try making an all English album sometime soon, especially with her sister's success in the American music market, but I guess we won't know that just yet. Well enjoy this amazing album from OLIVIA in great 320 quality!

Koda Kumi does it again! This summer Koda Kumi's single is "FREAKY." FREAKY contains four songs like "$ Hot Wave" except not all the songs are singles it seems that "FREAKY" and " Run For Your Life" are the singles which is cool since they are the better songs lol Maybe all this hip hop and big beats is forshadowing what Koda upcoming work might be like. "FREAKY" is actually a bit reminiscing of "BUT, ( To even using a speicific rift in both songs >__>) Well either way enjoy the single :D

I tried to find larger album art but all I could find was smaller then this >_> well anywho, hehe two Otsuka posts like following each other lol. PEACH is an upbeat song like many Otsuka Ai songs but I must admit maturity is reaching Otsuak Ai cause it seems more controlled if that makes any sense to anyone like compared to "Happy Days" or "Sakurambo" which makes me wonder if she'll lose some of her listening demographic this way. "HEART" is a down tempo song with a nice little electronic guitar rift that follows the song, very chill out :D well Otsuka Ai does it again :D, Enjoy !

[Single] EMYLI - TEKITO-LOVER featuring VERBAL(m-flo) [2007.07.18]

Latest single from EMYLI. After multiple viewings of the PV and listenings of the song, I've absolutley fallen in love with the song. I need'nt say much about Tekito (PV review below). The b-side is also a very nice song with an obvious latin influence. This song also comes in a spanish flavor, and I must say, EMYLI's spanish is really good, almost as good as her japanese. As for Tekito in english, its just ok. Its the same song and all, but its hard to make out what she's saying but it's deffinetly not a song to pass up, since its still Tekito at its core (and it still has VERBAL's awesome verses). I think that EMYLI is a native english speaker and that she is fluent, so I'm just a tad dissapointed/confused. Theres an interview on controlle.net with her, but I don't know how to register, so I'll try to get back to you guys on that. Well, heres the song that I think its safe to say is my "song of summer 07'".

Actually I found the video for this on youtube and it was labeled Otsuka Ai - I can Chu but this was later renamed to LOVE no Theme. LOVE being this character that you see with a lot of the Otsuka Ai stuff, will this is the bunny's song or well another personalty of Otsuka Ai, the very electronic, poppy and addictive side of Otsuka Ai and well its definitely worth a listen! I tagged this under Otsuka Ai as well :D

A nice single from my girl, EMYLI. Don't Vanish Love is a nice song, its kinda hard to explain it, its kinda upbeat, but kinda not at the same time. She even experiments with a little rap (kinda) in the song. The b-side, Far, Far Away, is a tad bit slower of a song but has a lot of feeling put into it. I really like it too, it shows that she can really sing, as does the title track. Overall, I really like this single and think that it is a must for any EMYLI fan (I'm sure there are some out there).

I love Water Me! lol Yes lets get this across that this single is really neat! :D "Water Me" is a slow ballad but it progresses well and classicial instuments in it and the intresting use of sound effects makes this a unique song. I have to admit what I really love is "GIMMIE A BEAT" this is such summer tune classic. The combination of the minimalist guitar rift mixed with electronic and the nice percussion and of course Bonnie Pink's voice makes this song awesome."MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR" is a cover of the song made by the Beatles by the same name.

Blogger Updates for July 07

Hey what's up everyone! Well yea our updated have taken a very sharp slow down and I'm very sorry about that but like with Detergent Cat and myself having jobs it has been quite difficult to keep posting, but let me assure you we are here and we've still been downloading and enjoying tons of great Jpop and now that I think I'll be taking some time away from my job I'll be posting a whole lot more! I know yay! Well so this month, or the remaining month rather I'll try uploading a bit more of the older Namie, Crystal Kay, Bonnie Pink, and some other stuff. So stay tuned!
