There is also an extra track at the end of the last track "No", it is also known as "No. pt.2" its an acoustic version. This album features some of the best and most interesting beats in the jpop scene, well cause its hip-hop! I first fell in love with "WoWa" but later moved onto "I Wanna Show You My Love", "Free", "No" and "Want Me, Want Me", As you can see I'm listening like half the album cause it's a really great album. At times the songs can seem repetitive but the songs feature an interesting use of Namie's voice as an instrument, in many of the songs she vocalizes a lot and many of the beats are great to dance to. This took me a really long time to upload but it's here so enjoy!

I really like this song : P I'm not into the whole slow jpop music, but the power of Yuna Ito's voice and the fact that it sounds kinda like an American ballad but at the same time has this level of Trapnest is just great : P reminds me of a song that should be played during a prom. ENDLESS STORY remix is not to great but Take Me Away makes up for it having a nice rock edge just like Trapnest would have : P

This is a pretty interesting album considering its an entire album created under a character or alternate personality, not that it hasn’t been done before but for a pop singer to do that is a little different (mostly Visual Kei bands have alternate personality bands) anyhow the entire concept only created a deeper feeling for the character that is Nana Osaki, well back to the music side of it. The album sounds like an old school British album from the era of the sex pistols but it has its jrock songs too : P either way good album make sure to check out NEGLEST MIND, REAL WORLD and BLOWING OUT.

Half of the reason I'm posting about Gwen today is for the fact that I must vent, well the song has a few good songs like "The Sweet Escape" and "Now That You Got It" but what I'm ranting about is that this album does not have the wow that Love.Angel.Music.Baby had, every song in Gwen's first album was a gem! Sadly the same can't be said about the Sweet Escape, it just seems that there are too many risks in the music and those risks did not pay off because the music either sounds generic or just plain weird. Here is an example, "Orange County Girl" reminds me of the song by Brooke Hogan this is not a good thing. "Don't get it twisted" has this beat that sounds like the generic circus rhythm, its so terrible and awkard. There is also "Yummy", its so peculiar, first it sounds like a childern's songs then the lyrics are completly random but also sexual all while have really weird and childish sounding beats. Then it ends with machine sounds which remind me of the music you would hear in a pre-teen cartoon show. Overall the album sounds very neptune-y (which the neptunes did produce some songs) but more then that its just a big disppointment... go download the few good songs and move on, ditch the other songs.

Koda Kumi is actually going to have a complete album! I know what a rare thing to see, a complete album as compared to tons of singles, well either way this should be her last single before her new album Black Cherry set to hit japan on december 20th, I'll post that album as soon as I get it well back to this single, I really enjoyed Cherry Girl it is a really nice upbeat song and it sounds unique for Koda Kumi but it works. The Space Cowboy Remix honestly sounds like a space channel 5 inspired remix : D so its cool but its not that great, anyhow last but not least, Unmei is a ballad and well I don't seem to care for it sorry I'm not a big Jpop Ballad lover.

This album is completely unique and amazing, its sad that she isn't appreciated more but by that small group that does love Eri, and those will enjoy all the wonderful music she makes. She doesnt sound like the typical japanesse artist so her music transcends into trance and other electronic genres. I first enjoyed her music in Lumines, I enjoyed Lights and then gave some apprecaiton to I hear the music in my soul but right now I'm listening to Kodou.

Well I wasnt going to put much american music if any on the blog but this is a rare treat! Ivy is one of those bands that I really like when it comes to american music, this album is differnt then what I'm used to but as I'm listening to it, its growing on me. The songs in this album all seem kinda slow and have that feeling that music like Jem, Dido and Telepopmusik give you.

I cannot explain the joy I get from a new Ayumi Hamasaki album, its amazing how she has been able to stay current and fresh thoughtout all these years! Anyhow a few songs that were released as singles but overall the album has many new songs so its ok. The songs in this album that were not singles have a more rock-er feel like kinda like My Story. I instantly fell in love with "1 Love" Guess that's expected from a song called "1 Love" either way its not the only song I love from this album : D

This album is just great, I dont think its as good as m-flo's Beat Space Nine but this album has it great songs like "miss you", "Astrosexy" and "REEEWIND!" This album has got me intrested in other artists such as Ryohei, CHEMISTRY and Krystal Kay.
